Workforce Readiness Festival with Your Passion1st

HOLISTIC INTEGRATIVE SOLUTIONS for the Community and Workplace

Work Force Readiness

Light of Loving Kindness partnered with YourPassion1st to offer a variety of creative, mindful, and engaging virtual workshops for young adults, free through the Workforce Readiness Festival.

Visualization for Athletes with Cassandra Powell - a 15-minute mindful meditation workshop that teaches the art of visualization, not only for athletes, but for anyone who would like to learn how to allow visualization to help create their future. If you'd like a dose of learning how to make positive connections visually through mindfulness, then this workshop is for you.

Cultivate Self Empathy through Creative Expression with David Nesbitt Taylor, Rebekah Joy Hall, and Miranda Steffens - a one-hour workshop in which participants learn ways to cultivate self-empathy using the transformative and healing power of creative self-expression and body awareness. The workshop features a dramatic skit and writing, meditation, and body movement activities to engage participants in a full body/mind experience. Participants will be introduced to tools they can continue to use in their day-to-day lives.

Chakra System Creative Flow with Chiquita - a source activity workshop, with plenty of room for Q&A, in which participants will flow through their bodies in a guided process, connecting, feeling, and creating as they go. Participants will learn about 7 chakras or energy centers in the body and how to work with these centers to feel more in touch with yourself and your environment.

Nutrition with ZenFrankie - a workshop for youth about nutrition, health, and wellbeing.
